What the heck??

One of my adult students is a motorcycle helmet designer for Yamaha. He recently traveled to Vietnam to see the helmets that they make there.

He says that this style is quite popular now.



They look like regular helmets, although light and not very strong looking.

But from the back...

WHAT THE HECK!



He said that the holes in these helmets are so that women can put their ponytails out the back, or tie their hair up on the top, without interfering with the helmet.

I think it's a great idea. But completely defeats the purpose of wearing a helmet...

How do I look?
