I went to the supermarket tonight and was incredibly surprised at the empty shelves.

No chicken. No beef. No pork. No fresh meat of any kind...



No prepared food dishes or salads...



It made me think of food hoarding before a big storm, except that it was all the fresh food that was gone, not the cans and boxes of things that people would usually stock pile.

I guess that is what happens when all the schools cancel lunch and everyone has to make bentos on the same day...
