Way back in the middle of August I had a "Pot Luck" BBQ with the adult students in my Monday, Thursday and Saturday night classes.

"Pot Luck" parties are very popular and common in America. It is an eating party where every person is expected to bring a dish of food to share with the others.　In this case everyone brought one main dish and one kind of raw meat or seafood to BBQ.

I made a stuffed pork,



a roast beef and a "beer-can chicken"



(yes, it looks gross, but it is very tender and yummy)

Everyone brought lots of other delicious food

but even better after grilling!
