こんばんは！
ハワイによく行くので毎回子どもたちのおみやげは何にしようか悩むんですが、
最近いつも「日本にないお菓子！」と言ってくれるのでとっても助かっているMr. Celayaです。

So one morning I was watching TV and saw the commercial for these new Kellogg's Cereal Straws. They are long straws made out of cereal so that kids can drink milk through them, then eat them after they start to get soggy. They come in multi-colored Fruit Loop, and Choco-Krispies flavors. They looked both fun & yummy and I figured that they would be perfect to bring back.

ある朝、ハワイでテレビを見ているとおもしろいコマーシャルが目に飛び込んできました。
ケロッグのシリアルストロー！！
シリアルで出来た長～いストローで、それでミルクを飲むことも出来、もちろんシリアルですから
ミルクがしみこんでちょっと柔らかくなるかならないかのところで食べると言うモノ♪
カラフルなシリアル、フルーツループ味、チョコクリスピー味がある！
楽しくておいしそう～♪　きっと怪獣達喜んでくれるな！決定！！







I also have bring back Cheetos every trip. I know you can buy Cheetos at almost any supermarket in Hamamatsu, but the boys like the American ones better because "they make your fingers and mouth all orange and cheezy." And the American ones come in fun shapes.

それと毎回ボクが怪獣達に必ず買ってくるのはチートスです。
もちろん、浜松のどこででもチートスは買えますが我が家の怪獣達はアメリカのヤツが好きなんです。
指や口がオレンジ色のチーズの粉末でべったりくっつくのがいいんだって。
あと、アメリカのはこんな風におもしろい形をしてるからね。





Our other favorite is Munchies - a really yummy mix of lots of different kinds of chips...

家族全員のお気に入りはマンチーズ色んな種類のモノが入っていておいしい～んです♪





As for cereal, the family favorites are Cherrios & Rice Krispies (which I loved as a kid). I always buy Rice Krispies with the intention of making Marshmallow Krispie Snacks for my students, but we always eat them all up before I get around to making them...

シリアルも必ずかって帰るんですが、我が家の定番は
チェリオーズとライスクリスピーです！
このライスクリスピーにマシュマロを混ぜて作るマシュマロクリスピースナックが
本当においしくて、毎回生徒達につくってあげようと思って大きな箱を買ってくるんですが
それを作る前に・・・・我が家でシリアルとして・・・いっつも食べ尽くしちゃうんですよね・・・。
