Today was another beautiful day in paradise and the perfect weather
for our snorkeling trip to Hanauma Bay.

We got there a little late in the afternoon so there weren’t
too many people, and we were able to get a good place on
the beach… half shade, half sun.
The water was nice and we saw a lot of fish.

We were also lucky enough to see a large sea turtle.

In the evening we met up with Nobby Ikeda and the crew from
Studio Rim Hawaii.

to take part in a special Startgazing Tour, which Nobby started
this summer. After driving out to Sandy Beach we spent over an
hour with Nobby pointing out the different stars and constellations
and explaining the stories behind them. There were a few clouds,
but they blew by quickly and we had a wonderful sky to look at with
the sound of waves crashing lightly in the background. The Milky Way
in particular was very visible as were the constellations of Scorpio,
Hercules, Teapot, Dolphin & the Northern Cross. It was both fun
and educational and no one wanted to go home when we finished…
