WE'RE HERE!!!

We arrived Wednesday morning after a smooth and uneventful flight,
a bit sleepy but happy and excited none the less.

After going to the Hawaii Homestay office the girls met their
English teacher, Ms. Takamori. Because it was so early in the day,
only Ms. Laidlaw was able to come pick up her girls.
She came with her son, Gabriel, whom everyone thought
was soooooooooo cute.

The others girls spent the day with the Tam Loo family before going home
to their own host family.

Yesterday, Thursday, they had English class in the morning,
visited the historical spots in the downtown Honolulu area,
then went to Ala Moana Center for a little shopping.

Walking around the mall makes one hungry, which means snacks time...

...before getting on the bus to go home. Overall, it seems that everone
had a really fun day.

This evening (Friday) one of the host mothers is taking all of the girls
to a Hawaiian concert which is being held in a park. Sounds like funicon01

I, on the other hand, will be alone in my room watching TVicon21

oops, I mean working.... not watching TV.... ummmmm.... writing teaching plans... and ummmmm making picture cards.
